LED lights are mounted to a Printed Circuit Board - or PCB for short. The color of that PCB might make a difference to you in how the finished installation looks in the daylight (assumes the LED strip can be seen such as with an awning light). Boogey Lights® is one of the few manufacturers who produce LED strips in both white PCB and black PCB. Many of our LED light kits include LEDs that come in two versions to match the surface the strip will be attached to. If for example you have a light colored RV, you will probably want to order the WHITE PCB light strip. If you have a dark colored RV, you will probably want to order the BLACK PCB light strip.
The color of the PCB is cosmetic only. Has zero impact on the performance of LEDs themselves. The color of the PCB strip only matters if the strip is mounted in a location where it can be seen during the daylight such as with an awning light. Under-glow LED strips for example can be either white or black pcb since under-glow leds are mounted under the vehicle and thus aren't seen.
