It depends on your comfort level working with 12vdc power. The vast majority of light kits we sell are to consumers who DIY their own installs so it's not difficult. If you're unfamiliar with 12vdc power we suggest asking someone who is to assist you. That said, rarely would a licensed 'electrician' be needed as you might with household 110/120vac wiring. If you don't know anyone who has 12vdc experience, any 12v accessory shop should be able to assist you. You might also check out our dealer locator to see if there's a local Boogey Lights dealer in your area who can assist.
