Absolutely! Been doing it for years. Our lighting systems are used on commercial vehicles of all types and when they're running down the road, the alternator is charging the batteries at 13 - 14.5vdc. So this isn't anything new to us. Just have to make sure you're sizing the circuit properly and you're not pulling too many amps through the controller than for what it's rated. The LEDs will burn brighter due to the higher input voltage which in turn will pull more amps. If you click on the SPECS navigation tab on this product page (and every other product page) you'll see we have amperage readings for 12.5v and 13.5vdc input for every possible LED color. We also have an entire discussion about this very issue there as well.
