Not at all. We do it all the time particularly on larger trailers that have a fuse panel built into the trailer (e.g. food trailers, race car haulers, stacker trailers, etc). Assumes of course the fuse block and related circuitry can handle the additional amperage draw you're adding to the trailer. Knowing the amperage limitations of the circuitry you're connecting to is the key.
