RGB Multi-Color LEDs will produce a hot purple color but not real purple. True purple LEDs are ultra-violet which are not very bright. If you scroll down to the product details of this product and click on the GEN2 LED CONTROLLER text group you'll find significantly more detail about the controller technology and the colors it will produce. In addition, if you click on the SPECS navigation tab on this product page and scroll down, you'll photos of these colors. Significantly more detail there.
