No. The hand held RF wireless remote (or wireless Bluetooth APP) is required to operate the lights: on, off, dim, change colors, adjust the mode, etc. It's called a wireless LED controller for that reason. The controller will power up in the last used setting but you need to use the RF remote or Bluetooth APP to turn them on (or off) That said, you could use the Quick-Switch feature (available on the Super and Heavy Duty GEN2 controller versions) to turn on just one color using a switch (12v input).
